Blue Oyster grow kits will arrive fully colonized. All you need to do is open the perforated window, cut an "X" against the block with a sharp knife, and mist the mushrooms three times daily with the spray bottle provided! Watch your mushrooms grow from tiny pins to large, beautiful flushes. Blue Oyster has a mild and nutty flavour with a sturdy and absorbent texture. Great in stir-fries or paired with eggs for breakfast. This species is high in fiber, protein, and potassium. It contains an antioxidant that is a preventative for cardiovascular disease.

• 4lbs of supplemented hardwood sawdust fully colonized with Pleurotus ostreatus  mycelium.
