If you have some experience mushroom foraging or you've taken our Mushroom Foraging for Beginners Class and want to up your game in the field, particularly when it comes to targeting productive habitat, join Shaggy Jack as he takes you into the forest to help you key up the right habitat to find the mushrooms you desire.

This fully immersive 2.5 hour experience is all about targeted forest mushroom identification & foraging. Participants will have the opportunity to forage for some of the Coast’s most popular edible mushrooms, including matsutake (pine) & chanterelles, as well as lesser-known exotic mushrooms, in productive forest sites, as Shaggy Jack hunts for edibles for the market.

These excursions are best suited for intermediate mushroom pickers who have some experience hunting for mushrooms, and those who have recently taken the classroom portion of the Mushroom Foraging for Beginners via Live Zoom or Prerecorded Video. For the full day experience for beginners we recommend our Wild Mushroom Foraging For Beginners Live Class + Forest Walk to get a good foundation in mushroom identification.
