Practice your mushroom identification skills on a guided walk through a suitable forest habitat.

This adventure is recommended for those who have taken the full Wild Mushroom Foraging for Beginners class within the last 24 months or those who have an intermediate level of foraging knowledge and experience.

About The Forest Walk

The Forest Walk will take place after the completion of our Live Class, and the location will be within a 7-20 minute drive away from Gibsons Public Market in the Mt. Elphinstone area (near Gibsons, Roberts Creek or Langdale).

The location will be announced by 7:00pm the night before, and students will receive an email with directions to the location.

Acknowledgment of Risk and Liability waivers will need to be signed prior to the Forest Walk, and may be signed online here or in person.

Forest Walk participants are asked to arrive on site at 12:30 pm. Please note that the walk will begin when all of the students from the Live Class are on site, and may begin as early as 12:30pm, or as late as 1:00, depending upon class volume and travel time.

The walk will last 90 minutes, and will conclude between 2:00 and 2:30pm.
